I feel like sometimes you get new furniture, items, pillows, art, etc. and it takes a while for it to feel like home or settle( not sure if this makes sense), but not this time. I immediately felt connected, a home that we can come into and feel.....this is my retreat, my sanctuary. I know this might sound silly to some but it was also important for me to include and feel like the kids( I know they are grown adults...but hey they are my babies) had a say in the decoration of the house too. My husband and I are months away from moving into our new (and bigger) home, which we will require a ton of new furnishings and decor.
