Flower Mound House Reveal

Back in October when we started the 12 room Flower Mound House we promised a big reveal when it was all said and done. Today the wait is finally over!  No more sneak peaks and little Instagram teasers. It’s full reveal day and we are going to let the beautiful photos speak for themselves.

To refresh your memory this was a 12 room renovation and design project on a new-construction in Flower Mound. We love this house. Already a beautiful rustic style home it just needed a few redesigns and tweaks to make it perfect for our modern/casual luxe loving clients.

The dining room is the first room you off the entry. We swoon every time we see these table, chairs and brass pendants.

The Great Room! The goal here was to match furniture scale with the lofty room so the space would feel cozy despite its size. The pendants, rug and furniture we chose kept the large room proportional, as well as livable and not too fussy.

Off the Great Room was the kitchen and breakfast nook where we updated light fixtures and added a new rug, table, barstools and chairs to keep with the modern feel of the house.

The study is one of our favorite rooms in the house. With so much gorgeous natural light we knew painting a dark accent wall would set the stage for everything else in the room like the one-of-a-kind, custom-built iron and wood wall unit and mid-century modern furniture.

This second living space holds a pool table and extra seating. Our clients wanted to display their record collection and this was the perfect spot. This will also serve as additional entertaining space when family and friends gather.

If you remember from our last post the Master Bedroom got a big update. We shared that the fireplace would be getting a complete overhaul with a custom cement casing application. We were so happy with how it turned out. The roman shades, platform bed, simple pendants (that hang from the ceiling) and modern light fixtures truly change the entire feel of the room.

From here we head to the guest room, kids bedrooms, arcade and art-studio. We told you this was a HUGE project! The guest room transformation started with the bed and luxurious mattress and bedding. I think it will be difficult for guests to want to leave this space! This is truly a grown up space that doesn’t feel stuffy!

This room is every pre-teen girls dream complete with a custom platform bed, oh-so-soft linens, macrame hangings, a fun bookcase and dreamy watercolor mural.

Our clients have a super cool, superhero loving son. He is also a sports fan…particularly found of the Golden State Warriors. We designed a wood and metal bunk bed complete with a 3rd extra pull-out mattress to accommodate sleep-overs. A metal catch-all locker, lounge chair (that can be made into a 4th bed) and sports and super-hero memorabilia complete the room.

The art studio is tucked away in the corner of the house and is perfect for our clients daughter who loves to draw and paint. We had a wooden platform built for the desk with hidden storage and added a hanging Ratan chair and wooden daybed for hours of daydreaming! The three woven pendants hung at different heights provide plenty of lighting to add to the already light-drenched room.

The goal for the arcade room was to add pops of color and make it a fun family and friend hang out place complete with a custom snack bar area and plenty of seating.

Our clients enjoy hosting family and friends so an outdoor living/entertaining space was a must. The handmade table, benches and chairs give ample seating for meals while the sectional and other modern outdoor pieces provide plenty of seating. Check out those amazing muted black pendants!

We hope you enjoyed the Flower Mound house reveal and tour as much as we enjoyed working on the project! If you need a whole house redesign or just help in a few rooms let us know. We would be honored to help with your next project!
