We're absolutely elated to share this wave of recognition with you, and it's with immense pleasure that we unveil a project that's particularly close to our hearts. Among these remarkable nominations stands our cherished Midway Hollow Project – a space we're deeply honored to showcase today.
Today, we warmly welcome you to join us as we explore our Midway Hollow project nestled in the heart of Dallas.
The primary bathroom suite was recently bestowed with the revered 2023 Luxe Red Award and graced and has also graced the pages of Architectural Digest. But beyond the accolades, this project is a testament to our devotion to craftsmanship, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for crafting spaces that radiate elegance. It's a symphony of artistry and sophistication, a story waiting to be told.
Our mission was to transform underwhelming, non-personalized spaces into custom sanctuaries tailored to our client's needs, amplifying their functionality while maintaining an artful allure. The result? Spaces that our client describes as personal vacation spots within her own home. Rich textures paint the canvas of these rooms, lending them a palpable sense of luxury.
The transformation journey began with the kitchen's beating heart – the island. A careful modification and extension breathed new life into the island, offering enhanced storage while harmonizing the space's scale. The primary bathroom saw a metamorphosis of vanity space, where previously two walls gave way to a singular, elegant wall with a cabinet to house all the bathroom essentials. This thoughtful consolidation was born from a desire to cater to our minimalist clients' needs while elevating the room's aesthetic.
And the touches of travel-inspired treasures? Those are stories etched into the spaces, tales from our journeys to Round Top. Vintage plaster bowls, French artwork that whispers of distant elegance, aged cutting boards, an antique coffee mortar – each piece adding depth and soul to the narrative we've crafted.
Our focus on maximizing both space and functionality led us to a design approach that reimagined the conventional. In the primary bathroom, a hand-applied trowel plaster finish bestows a soft, moody elegance, which was an essential design element to the rich texture we were after. The round soaking tub, a distinct departure from the ordinary, adds a touch of the extraordinary to bath time. Meanwhile, the kitchen exudes a sense of rhythm and repetition with its custom white oak pantry cabinet and shelves adorned with brass accents. These spaces find their unity through embracing bold green tones, crafting an indelible and timeless statement.
In the end, this project is a symphony of design prowess and client dreams fulfilled. It's about crafting spaces that cocoon you in luxury while answering your practical needs.
